Jeje, no, nothing like that. You don't need any 'own will therapy' since you have one.

From what I had read, you always travel with a sword. But that doesn't mean you actually know how to use it. Then I conclude you don't have an appropriate introduction in barehanded fighting (maybe experience, but technique..)
So here is the favor: 'Take your time'.
Practice your sword skill, but not just stab on stuff. 'Study' it carefully.
And my sword style may not be similar to Asian types (once I saw a photo of your sword, it is a blade if I'm not wrong)
But still I can give you some introduction to basic combat, and I know of a couple of persons who can teach you advanced combat (it would go by my pay, of course).
So please if you reject my help, at least think about it, nowadays you can learn many stuff in lots of places.
If you accept, I know a different places you could stay for a week (always moving of course).

My sword is a replica katana that's been sharpened by a friend I had once, that I try to keep maintained.
It'll last.
