I was wrong

So wrong.

He is NOT with the abomination. He or she acts independently from the Abomination. The cloaked dancer I.. I think It's a new type of abomination. Just think about it.. If the Faceless is part of the herejes' religion, then why some of them speak northern dialects and other nahuatl?

We have been fighting with TWO groups all this time.

Those who said were our protectors, the ones we interrogated  to the death, they may be the other ones. I'm not saying they are good-doers either, but this makes things clearer here. We crossed everything as Faceless deed, because we relied in the few information we took from the net and the under-net, we just judged the cover. But what about those who don't have a machine to write, but have stories to tell as well? We know that the herejes' population usually focus in isolated villages.

Ever since the night I encountered the red dancer, and lost all my team and equipment, I have been continuing the research by my own, leaving the blogophere research to brother Fehr. Traveling from village to village (apparently even New Jerusalem have Abomination influence), presenting myself as a journalist, people trusted me, and told me their stories, and only then I could see a pattern..

My conclusion? We are cursed: not one, but two hells have fell upon us.

Reporte el ataque del 5 de enero

Uriel Here,

First, I want to give my condolences to the families of my fallen men, and that I take full responsibility for their deaths. I want to make sure to you that my men were like my own brothers and sisters since we trained, grew up and fought together. If someone must feel horrible because of their departure that should be me, since now I feel lost without them.

I was ordered to post the report of the atentado, deal I don't agree at all.

Pardon me if I can’t have an exact hour for each affair, since for me Those 4 hours were like an eternity. This text may not be a formal report at all, but at least it is somehow reliable.

The next event took place in January 5, between the 2300 hours and the 0300 hours of the next day:

It was one hour for midnight, my team of 15 men and women were making guard at the Sodoma base, as any other night.

Sodoma was a provisional base that was scheduled for demolition during the last week, so since we were recently graduated from the 'condicionamiento' a special permission was given to us to stay here (Every mayor knight watch for their own bases construction and demolition, and at the moment I DON'T REALLY HAVE THAT MONEY TO START WITH A NEW BASE*).

Rumors between our ranks were told about a massive attack that was coming (mainly because my investigations about what happened a year ago in the blogosphere), and naturally all the men were pretty tense because of it. Our task was to protect this point while the other mayor knights and their teams protected their own bases more in what could be say "the front line" of this war. Theoretically, we were in a safe zone, but still we were ordered to keep an eye open. That night had a nice weather, despite of everything, clear and fresh.

We never figured out how they knew our location, or even the existence of a fourth base.
We were just taking patrol around the base when everything began.

I can still remember that sound. I´m not sure why, but I just can’t forgive that sound, or the fear it brought to me. We were just executing our rolls when suddenly a distant echo freaked us out. Something like an airplane´s engine, but not the same, more like the sound the wind makes between the mountains. Which by the way it is curious; we are at a low area. A wind flute, maybe? No, more like a rusty trumpet, but deeper, like echoing in the entire valley. Maybe five or seven minutes passed before it stopped.

Then just silence, but not just the silence from the place, but, from within myself. I still can’t understand it at all. But for some seconds, I was not there. Yes, I mean, my body was there, and obviously my perception as well. But, something.... it was like if something (I?) was missing at the same time.

And for some seconds I swear, I was able to see myself (watching myself, watching myself, and watching myself, ∞) from another point of view.

I immediately vomit after that, getting out of that little trip my (soul?) made. I still can’t make myself used to the idea. I turned then around and I noticed that my group was in an even worse state, José was even coughing blood.

Then we heard a scream.

It was Fernanda, second in lead of the group; she was in the floor, deliriously writhing in her own blood stream, one leg from down her knee missing. The abomination is here!, I thought in surprise, or that WAS what I thought then. No, the Abomination showed up that night, yes, but not yet.

This time, we meet up with another threat.

When I turn my view in search of the Abomination, I saw something that I was not expecting to see. A tall man (1.90 mtrs), wearing an old red-wine color hooded robe, a gold belt in his waist, barefooted, with feet as deformed as of a field worker, and a quite unique knife in his hand. It was hard to see his face in the dark, but because of the moonlight I was able to see his eyes clearly.

Shining, in the dark, two yellow colored eyes.

We both stared at each other for a second, and I, .., this is quite-... how to explain it? .

Have you ever seen a wild wolf to the eyes? That bloodlust you can almost feel hitting your face. Something like that. I petrified towards the idea of a unavoidable threat. Then, while still in that trance, this man started to walk slowly (more like limping) towards me, saying something in a language I didn’t understand (It was Cucapá, maybe Nahuatl? I don’t know, I´m not a translator). But apparently a partner did. Israel, our medic, seemed to understand the being, and just then I understudied that the red man was messing with his head. No! I won’t! I will never do that! My comrade screamed. His shouts made me look away from the red man and so I could noticed that Israel was covering his ears, bleeding from the nose. He just fainted after some seconds of that grievous show.

I heard another Scream, and another, and another, and another. Screams, echoing in the entire valley, starting from behind me. Screams.

The being, with a speed that could match a bullet, was dismembering my partners bodies, without killing them completely, like dancing, almost like an animal, leaving everyone in the floor, twisting in pain. Blood puddles everywhere, splashing and dripping everywhere in matter of seconds. His feet, jumping, almost dancing, flip, flop, almost following the rhythm of the yelling.

I really tried, I really did, really, but it wasn’t enough. I took the nearest person hand, Sister Guadalupe, and tried to run the hell out of there. But as soon as I turned around I felt how the weight of her arm was suddenly lighter. I quickly turned my head and I was only holding a hand, a still trembling dismembered hand. I really loose myself by this point, while the creature kept dancing in blood. Then everything was just chaos inside my head... It didn’t mattered to me where was up, where was down, right or left, North, or South, I just turned off my mind and let my body in the ground.

Creo que desarrollé fobia a la sangre en este punto, inclusive días después todavía me mareo con ver una gota de sangre.

Knocked out, I was saved by Eduardo and Arturo, my best inquisitors. The next thing I could recall was that we were inside the base, and that hardly some elements managed to get away in the vehicles, that the red man disappeared and that the place was flooding in herejes.

I still could feel the sensation of my irritated throat because of the vomit, so I guessed that not many time had passed. These two survivors informed me that they were trying to reach the communications room, which was actually my main office (I'm an informatics researcher after all).
In this room we usually keep a couple of maps, phones, even coordinates that could mark out the rest Holy Assembly's bases, so it is of top priority to destroy all the documents here if the base was being taken.

And so we struggle with the herejes to get there first. Between our locations to the communications room were two corridors and a recreation chamber. We at least encountered with 5 proxys in there, all armed with low caliber pistols, later we fought against one with a shotgun and an elusive one wielding a knife right in front my office. It seemed that this last two were enforcing every door they could find, since the last corridor´s doors were collapsed in the floor, so we guessed that they were already searching for any information the base document´s had.

After killing the one with the shotgun and executing the knife fighter, we found some weird cloth pieces bound to a necklace they wore. We currently have one of those necklaces with us; each cloth is full of operators symbols, some of them already stained in blood from long ago.

A Runner Chaser, perhaps?

My dizziness was finally passing out so I retook the leadership. I got into my office and searched for that sweet wine Rafael once gifted to me in Christmas (Sorry partner, I didn’t had too much time),  and then I spilt it in all the shelves, documents, boxes and archives I could find, and then I burn all up with Eduardo's lighter. Then I just destroyed my computer's hard disk by smashing it with a piece of wood from my desk's foot, God, photos, videos, all gone. I will sure miss all our stuff in there..
There was no time to lose in meaningless stuff, we ran the hell out of there and went outside. We encountered some more herejes in our way there but we didn’t need to open fire so suddenly since they were too busy trying to get all our supplies from the base before the fire in my office consumed the building. We headed to an old jeep we had parked since a long ago right at the entrance, once in we started the car directly without the keys. Just then we thought that we would be able to make it, that everything was going to be ok now. I could feel how the 3 felt safe as we entered the highway.

Why is everything this way? Why when you finally end with one problem, a worse one just appears?...

The Abomination appeared in front of us, at the highway. Short long story: The car flew into the air and landed out of the road with its wheels turned up. Arturo died because of the impact. Eduardo and me forced our way out of the car and once outside The Abomination took Eduardo’s life. Then The Abomination approached to me, stretching one limb. I believed myself already death.

Then lights were pointed towards me and The Abomination. It was a reinforcement group from Miguel’s men who attended one of my men emergency calls, 5 passenger vehicles and one assault vehicle. Nevermind, we all freeze there, even the Abomination, no one wanted to provoke. I just crawled towards the nearest vehicle while everybody was still frozen. Jumped in and commanded the driver to drive away slowly. The Abomination didn’t pursued us, and the rest of the convoy followed us. There was no need to reinforce Sodoma base, the place was already flooded in herejes. And so we left leaving everything behind.

Once we reached The Holy Assembly’s base, I was informed that my group was dissolved and that the survivors could retire, if they wished to continue it would be as independent agents.

That’s everything. Sorry if I don’t cleared many doubts, but it’s all I can remember.

Grupo del Santo Sepulcro, fue un honor luchar con ustedes, aunque no fuera por mucho tiempo.

Salve Christe.

We are not a gang

An anonymous user wrote something irritating for me in the last entry, but the answer was too long for a comment, so I decided to make an entry for it:

That is not how things work around our country. But it is comprehensible that an American wouldn't have an idea since most of the information is filtered from the Mexican media and THAT information is also filtered to go outside the country. We usually use (sometimes make or act up) other "shameful events" to distract the popular eye from our movements. We also have members inside the media, and the Mexico's government also let us free to do everything we want since we have maintained our side of Mexico "clean".

We are not a low-grade gang. We are an Organization. We make deals with the government and also maintain order without winning anything back.

About the "mass-murdering". Most of the proxys at this side of the country are from natives isolated communities, most of them doesn't exist according to the federal archives or have nationality, so if our patriots don't have a problem with it, we are free to do as we wish again. As long as everything is neat and presentable the next morning.

And for the curious, we just say we are part of a special company from the government and the bodies are from a drug cartel. It is amazing how everything sets down by just saying that nowadays, although we are not the first organization to use that, the drug war you may heard about it is actually just the top of the table..

Ok, enough of this. I'm too old to tell the same story too many times, maybe here our allied Assemblies may read without asking and build some valor while doing it.
